What is kokumi?
Kokumi has been recently recognised as the sixth sense – after salt, sour, sweet, bitter and umami. Foods with “kokumi” enhance the flavours of other foods. They have a luxurious mouth feel and a richness, depth and complexity which improves the taste everything they’re paired with. It’s the perfect description of our new soy-free sauce!
This luxury dipping sauce is a soy-free alternative to soy sauce, made by natural fermentation, then reduced to concentrate the flavours.
Made in Worcestershire from British fava beans; mushrooms which are grown and roasted in the UK; and our own white rice koji.
